David J. Silva: Trump has right to speak the truth
Donald Trump is a very successful businessman who recently announced his intention to run for president on the Republican ticket. During his announcement, he criticized our southern border policy. He believes we should build a wall to stop the flow of drugs and illegal aliens, some of whom are dangerous criminals.
Before I sold our dairy 12 years ago, I worked with hired men from Mexico for 23 years. I am able to speak Spanish and they all told me what a dangerous, violent country Mexico is. From what these men told me, Trump spoke the truth. As usual, the liberal news media such as NBC and others criticized what he said. This is normal for liberals, because when you do something that they don’t like, you are racist or homophobic.
Donald Trump was exercising his right to free speech, something thousands of people have fought and died to protect. You never hear us conservatives calling people whom we don’t agree with names, but this time I will – too many liberals are stupid and un-American. You should go to some place that will agree with your anti-free speech blather, if you can find such a place.
