Mitch Rudoff: Business should provide training if schools can’t

On a business program airing on PBS, a CEO stated there are 4 million job openings, but the applicants are not qualified. There are jobs out there but there exists a qualification gap for applicants.

Why not incorporate classes by these employers for the prospective employees to close this educational gap? It would also provide hands-on training for those jobs and perhaps payment to the applicants to take the courses with the guarantee of employment upon completion of the courses.
