Ed Ortega: Trump only candidate willing to talk about bad immigrants

Re “Trump’s remarks awkward for GOP” (Page B1, July 2): The biggest problem we have in America is the media that keeps blowing things out of proportion. Donald Trump never said all Mexicans are rapists, drug runners or killers. He said some, and there where also some good Mexicans in there.

I was born in Mexico and I agree with Mr. Trump 100 percent. If you want to hide and say it’s not true, then look no further than your local jails. Look at his Facebook page and you will see other Latinos supporting Trump. Every Mexican who is here illegally is a criminal, so stop pretending that they are all law-abiding people. The truth hurts sometimes. Talking about this does not make you a racist, it makes you an American using your freedom of speech.

When is our government going to start arresting and deporting all these illegal aliens? So far, Trump is the only candidate willing to talk about the white elephant in the room. If you love this country then support any candidate who will deport 11 million invading illegals. I love America, and served 22 years in the Navy.
