Linda Detwiler: Puppy stolen from car, owner wants her back

On June 11, our 2 1/2 month old puppy was stolen from my car. I have been trying to get her used to being in the car with me, so I took her to Macy’s. I got there at 10 a.m., right at the opening, before it got hot. I parked in the covered lot way off by myself with all the windows down a little so she would not get hot. I was only inside 20 minutes, and when I came out to my car she was gone. The surveillance cameras rotate, so security was not able to see anyone.

To the thief: Maybe you were just going to burglarize my car and saw Jax. Maybe you didn’t know I was only going to be in there a few minutes and thought you were “rescuing” her. Maybe you really wanted a pet. I’m heartbroken. My number is on her tags. I want her back. Please, call me. What you did is despicable!
