James Sandner: Hillary isn’t fit to be president
Sacramento Bee writer Foon Rhee offers some insight on presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton and expresses concern that she lacks a sense of humor, but declares that “it’s time our nation had a female president, and she’s certainly the most qualified.” He disparages the GOP challengers and, in a hilariously ironic statement, encourages Clinton to “recycle that 3 a.m. phone call ad from 2008” to highlight her foreign policy experience.
Where was Hillary when Ambassador Stevens called from Benghazi? When the four victims of the terrorist attack were returned to the U.S., Hillary cynically told one of the fathers that, “We are going to have the person responsible for the video arrested.” Finally, in her testimony to Congress about the events in Benghazi, she said, “What difference at this point does it make?”
Her mendacity extends to things great and small, like her claim that she was named for Sir Edmund Hillary who climbed Mt. Everest 5 years after she was born. She is not fit to manage a sewage treatment plant. Can’t the Democratic Party find a women with character, integrity, a record of successful real-world experience and perhaps a down-to-earth sense of humor?
