Bob Garcia: A way to cut way down on flushing
Huge water saver. How many times a day does the average man flush a toilet after just urinating? With the right plastic container, one holding at least 64 ounces of liquid and with a good tight sealing lid over a 2-inch opening and a convenient large side handle, you will be ready to really start saving water. I found the perfect container at Home Depot holding snail and slug bait. It was absolutely perfect and I had snails to get rid of, too. I store it right behind the toilet out of sight on the floor.
No midnight noise of a flushing toilet and you can stand up without making a mess. I flush it about every third day along with you-know-what, saving a whole lot of water.
