William Rowan: Lake Mead being drained, but why?
The surface level of Lake Mead nears the turbine intake level. Why is Lake Mead going down? It is being deliberately drained.
The statistics are clear. When you let out more water than is coming in, the water level falls. There is 12,000 cubic feet per second coming in and 17,500 cubic feet per second going out. The lights are going to go out and it looks like it is intentional. Who would want such a thing?
