Yasmin Huerta: Try to understand stress of being in high school
High school students are under constant stress. They worry about grades and working to get into college. This stress is not commonly addressed by adults who can not possibly see how high school students could be stressed if they do not have jobs or families to support. This lack of understanding furthers the stress that high school students are under. These students are at a point in their lives in which they have to make multiple decisions that will ultimately determine what their future lives will be like. They are told that they are the future of this Earth, and this adds even more pressure. Students deserve to be understood and not regarded as complaining children.
