Carlen Jupe: Bible condems same-sex couples and those who approve of them

Re “Marriage is a right for everyone” (Opinions, April 30): The Bee asked, “Isn’t it time for all of us to set aside any antiquated objections over who can get married?” I say: No.

As part of “all of us,” I do not affirm same-sex acts because, in the Bible, God says they are wrong and God isn’t antiquated, He’s eternal. Same-sex marriage affirms not only the act but also the lifestyle and God says (Romans 1:32) that such approval is even worse than the sin itself. I believe God, so I can’t approve. (If anyone wants my opinion about why God hates sin, catch me on Facebook.)
