Pete Sandoval: Hiring water cops will only make Obama happy
Looks like water districts are getting ready to raise the prices of water. How nice. Reminds me of the so-called gas shortage of many years ago. I know that only fools and the super honest citizens followed the odd-even license plate rules. I’m sure there are lots more creative people around today.
At a time when cities are hard-up for cash, some are hiring water cops; hire more, fools. If you hire a thousand, the unemployment figures will go down and Obama gets the credit. While they are at it, why not fine and jail water wasters? Start with the elderly and poor people. The road to hell is now right outside your door.
