Thom Cardoza: Marsh taking a proactive approach to ‘tagging’
Re “Modesto aims to wipe out graffiti” (Page B1, May 1): Whether you approve of Mayor Garrad Marsh’s overall game plan or not, what he continually accomplishes is what the average Modesto resident wants. While I don’t always agree with some of his ideas, he continues to impress me with his sincere idea for making Modesto a better place to live. His new plan to attack our “tagging” problem is is the most proactive approach I’ve seen in the past 30 or so years since we’ve been exposed to this disgusting form of “art.”
