Mary Jane Wilson: Thanking those who came to her aid

On April 13, I tripped and fell on the sidewalk near my home on East Hawkeye. I could not get up on my own. Down the block a young man was on his cell phone, his back to me, but he heard my yelling and came running to help me up. He was very concerned as I was bleeding and hurt, but I asked him to summon my neighbor. Then a woman in a green Jeep stopped to offer help. They both left when my neighbor came, so I had no chance to thank them.

My neighbor told me the young man’s name is “Andy,” so I am thanking “Andy” and the lady in the green Jeep for being “good Samaritans.” God bless you!
