Bruce R. Frohman: Denham’s disregard for our health makes us sick
Over the past few years, The Modesto Bee has featured numerous articles on local health problems that are serious and chronic. Readers have seen horrifying stories about flesh-eating bacteria, flu epidemics, Valley Fever, West Nile Virus, asthma, nutrition deficits and other ailments.
Congressman Jeff Denham’s response has been to vote for every bill designed to reduce access to health care by the working class. Why anyone would vote for a politician lacking conscience is beyond comprehension.
Given the level of bickering within the local Democratic Party, one must wonder whether the plan is to throw an election. If Rep. Denham wins this fall, the victory will not be due to merit.
