Brandt Kile: 15 months later, Highway 99 looks better

Awhile back (Dec. 3, 2013), I sent in a letter (“Clean up 99, improve our image”) about the amount of garbage on the freeway that runs through our town and the frustration about trying to contact anyone who can do something about it. I wanted to follow up, because I have seen a noticeable improvement.

Granted a task like this is always a work in progress, but the effort is there! It seems to be a combined effort from CalTrans and community organizations and businesses. I didn’t write the original letter just to complain. I wrote it in an effort to be heard and create change. Thank you to anyone who has had anything to do with this! It’s better for the residents and commerce.
