Hans Roth: Don’t allow unqualified police officers in name of diversity

Unfortunately, there have been an abundance of police-involved shootings. Some justified, some not. There are some cities who want to lower the qualifications to become a police officer in the name of “diversification.” That’s just what we need, less-qualified cops with a gun – that ought to improve things.

We are in the middle of a drought and instead of raising and building new water containment structures, our governor is going to spend $100 billion (with cost overruns) taxpayer dollars for a train that will forever be subsidized by us taxpayers. There’s an old saying: “You can’t fix stupid.”

Remember, government doesn’t fund anything, they just spend other people’s money.

Hans Roth, Murphys
