Kathy Peixoto: Why does Eggman think third try vs. Denham will be different?
Over the past several months, I have had the pleasure of meeting the candidates who are working to unseat Jeff Denham. These candidates have all taken the time to meet community members, attend marches and rallies, and participated in three well-attended debates. I have vowed to actively – and proudly – support whichever of these fine individuals wins the June primary. Any one of them would do an excellent job of representing our needs in Congress.
Enter the late-comer, Michael Eggman. You know Eggman. He has name recognition – we recognize him as the guy who always loses to Jeff Denham. He just threw his hat into the ring, despite stating last June he would not run again, but rather spend his time supporting the resistance. Already, he’s caught in two lies. The only thing Eggman can add to the CA-10 Congressional race is distraction and to divide the party and votes. Any egghead who supports Michael Eggman deserves what they are sure to receive – two more years of Jeff Denham.
