Samuel H. Newnam: What are Democrats getting for all the taxes you pay
I really and sincerely want Democrats who read The Modesto Bee to answer a question. If you have a job, a family, on a fixed income or retired, how do you vote Democrat? Your state and federal elective officials’ are taxing us into oblivion. Especially here in California. Tax, tax, spend and spend. Money for illegals for nothing more than hoping they will some day be able to vote Democrat. Money for welfare (at a bare living minimum), so these people vote Democrat.
Sacramento is drunk on power. They actually are starting to think California is its own country. California’s spending and taxes are out of control. But I have to ask: What in the hell are you people getting from all of this? Do you really enjoy not having extra money for you and your family, just so Demos can buy votes? If so, how sad. How very sad. I guess you people like being lead around by your noses and being treated as naive children by your elected Demos.
