Michael King: Just give me one, single day without another outrage
I need a day off. Just one single, solitary day of rest would be great. Just one day without a racist, sexist or ethnic tweet. Just one day without an incredibly stupid statement that defies comprehension. Just one day where the lead story is about a good deed or a cute puppy. It would be great if that could happen because I really need that day off.
