Clarence Siler: There’s no shortage of water, just determination
The water shortage in California is mostly political. We are surrounded by water, all we have to do is pump it out of the ocean. What is the problem with that? It might cost us a little money, but not as much as building a train to nowhere. A train that will cost a $1 billion to go about 200 or 300 miles, one that nobody will ride. Stop the shortage hype and do the job. Other countries do it, why not California?
