Cynthia Sanchez: Seniors, don’t let up with your goal in sight
It is now April of senior year in high school. College acceptance letters have arrived and it is time to make a decision that will impact the rest of your life. Which college will you choose?
This is possibly one of the hardest decisions a high school student will ever make. They have to decide based on our career goals as well as family situations. Beginning a new chapter in life sounds great, but distractions that arise may jeopardize being able to graduate. This includes prom, senior trip and other activities that end up making seniors careless.
Advice for seniors: Remember to end your year strong because final grades do, in fact, matter to colleges and your eligibility to graduate. Have fun, but focus on your studies! Senior year may be stressful, but keep moving forward. After all, graduation is just around the corner! Good luck Class of 2015!
