Collin Eden: Shade at Rose Avenue School will help us avoid cancer
I know you are busy reading lots of letters, but please read all of mine. I am writing this letter to say that shade is important and without shade students can get sunburned, which can lead to skin cancer. If you get cancer you could lose everything in the blink of an eye. That’s why we’re trying to raise money so students will be protected. We are trying to raise money to install a shade structure. We have raised about $70,000 to buy the structure, but we don’t have enough money for someone to install it. We need to raise $13,000. Just remember, without shade you could lose everything in a blink of an eye.
