Mary Brown: Republicans putting a ring on their Middle Finger Tax Plan

Republicans feign outrage at the woman who gave the Trump motorcade a middle finger. Then they promptly give a collective middle finger to their supporters and the entire country with their tax plans.

The GOP Middle Finger Tax Plan eliminates: deductions for personal casualty losses, catastrophic medical expenses, student loan interest, state and federal taxes, and puts a cap on mortgage interest deductions. The real kicker is the elimination of deductions for wildfire and earthquake losses while allowing hurricane victims to deduct their losses. Red states get hurricanes; anyone got a clue what goes on here?

And don’t forget, programs like Medicaid are being slashed to tatters. All of this is to offset huge tax breaks for corporations and billionaires.

So, Middle Class America , how do you propose to keep your house, put your kids through college, pay for your elderly parents who need 24-hour care, and pay for your own care?

Do you really think this new con job is going to “stimulant the economy and bring jobs”? This is the tired old lie we’ve been fed since Ronald Reagan. They simply pocket the windfall.

I can’t wait to see Jeff Denham go into verbal pretzels to sell this one.
