M.L. Beshear: Are the fish comfortable, Governor?
While Gov. Jerry Brown is on his global-warming, no-snow tour, he could visit our dams then the rivers to make sure the fish aren’t too warm. Maybe he could talk to people whose homes will run out of water this summer or those who have lost their water-related jobs. Back home he could look for videos of our raging rivers from four years ago and wish we had that water now. Instead, 40 to 50 percent flowed to the sea.
People count more than fish. Common sense, as our population grows, is in short supply. A governor who insists on building high-speed rail for $68 billion when we voted for the $9.95 billion Proposition 1A, will not let logic get in his way.
