James Bates: This vote puts Stu to work for you
I have known Stu Gilman for many years and he has the qualities needed to be a fantastic MID director. Stu genuinely cares about people and the Central Valley. This means he cares about what you pay for electrical service from MID. He is serious about lower rates and/or rebates.
He loves our agricultural heritage and will fight to protect it and our water supply from outsiders. For years I have witnessed Stu connect individuals and groups, with no self-gain, but to build bridges to solve needs in our community. He will be accessible, friendly and answer any questions you have about the Modesto Irrigation District.
As a first-time candidate for public office, Stu will be transparent about any issues he’s not well versed on while being humble to learn and a quick study to fully understand the issues. Stu is a very hard worker who will work as long as he needs to master the various issues MID faces. If you vote for Stu, he will go to work for you!
