Betty Stewart: Don’t miss this play or this scene
Re “One play, two eras, multiple ‘Variations’” (Scene Page 10, Sept. 15): “33 Variations,” Prospect Theater Project’s latest production, is an unusual and engrossing play about the pain and passion we experience in our lives. Jenni Abbott is outstanding as Katherine and there is a particular musical scene in the second act that is hauntingly beautiful. You will know when that is. “33 Variations” plays through Oct. 1. Try not to miss it.
