Yvonne Hudson: Shouldn’t we be in favor of a deal on nuclear arms?

I don’t understand why trying to broker a deal with Iran to stop them from producing a nuclear weapon is so horrible. Can we trust them? I don’t know, but must we always be on a brink of an un-winnable war?

I’m sure the average Iranian citizen is hoping for a better life. Like John Lennon once sang “Give peace a chance.” Jesus taught us to love our enemies! And, by the way, who is the only country that has actually dropped an atom bomb? The United States.

All nukes should be banned. Don’t you think that if Iran did use a nuclear weapon they would quickly become a parking lot. This Easter season we need to think about the way we want our world to survive for ourselves and our children and the world’s children.
