Cheri Katen: Thieves ruin visit to cemetery on Scenic
Today was a sad day for me. I don’t think I have any kind things to say about some of the people in Modesto. We went to the cemetery today to put out Easter flowers. Someone broke out the window of my car and stole my purse. They literally stole my identity. It’s sad when you can’t go to a sacred place that is supposed to be peaceful and where people are kind to each other and something like this happens. What will these guys do next? Please be aware of your surroundings when you go to St. Stanislaus or Acacia Cemetery on Scenic Avenue.
