Irma Sanchez-Rodriguez: Schools should let us know when there is danger on campus

My kids are students at Gregori High School, and they report an ambulance or fire truck on campus at least twice a week. Parents are not notified. Is this the normal protocol for schools? If kids are in life-threatening situations, I would like to know my kids are safe. I know the school can’t share information about what happened and to whom, but I think parents should know if their children in danger
