David Rivada: Brown right, Cruz’s denial is a dealbreaker

Re “Calif. governor calls Ted Cruz ‘unfit’ to run for president” (Online, March 22): If Jerry Brown were running 10 years ago, I’d be out cheering “Brown 2005 and Brown 2009!”

A recent Stanford poll finds that 83 percent of American adults are concerned with climate change, but Cruz completely denies climate change! Just being able to put off what so many American adults are concerned about automatically convinces me that Cruz is not presidential material.

All you have to do is open a high school environmental science book and read for about 30 minutes to see enough facts to make your own logical decision whether climate change is real or not.
