Manny T. Coronilla: Tales of police brutality overdone and often ignore facts

I am sick and tired of listening to the radio or reading the daily newspaper about how the police are killing, beating and jumping on African-Americans. I do not believe the police are going around beating on this group of people – as if that was the only thing they have to do.

I am also getting sick and tired of people yelling “keep your hands off us ... even if we murder, rob, rape of sell drugs – don’t touch us.”

The media has gotten hold of this story and won’t let go. The least they can do is report what transpired before an individual was shot or beaten. Who was the aggressor? Was that person under the influence of alcohol, drugs or marijuana?

I pray the police continue to do their jobs and do not give in to crybabies who insist they are special and should not be stopped by the police.
