Did you see it? Did you see it? Modesto is a proud possessor of a fire truck exclusive to Modesto, only one of three left anywhere. What a treasure we have, and we got to see it today!
I’m not sure of all the exact facts, but I do know that there is goldleaf trim, all original equipment, a painting of Chief Estanislau on the doors and it was running! I think it is almost 100 years old!
Come on, Modesto. Let’s jump on this historic fire engine and join together to get this massive piece of history restored to its former glory. Hopefully more information will follow.
