Denny Jackman: Since Caltrans took over city streets, traffic flow has been ruined

Modesto drivers should be asking Caltrans why it “took over” the traffic signals along several of our streets if they can’t keep them synchronized. In 2016, after decades of nearly perfect signal sequencing along G, H, K and L streets, Caltrans sent the city of Modesto a letter saying they could do better. They have not. Flow on our one-way streets is now a joke.

Question is, how long will the city of Modesto allow its citizens to be abused by this hostile takeover?

We need our representatives to reverse this poorly managed takeover. Where is our representation in Sacramento on this?
