Edwin Silva: Comedians went over the top, but that’s not the real problem

Yes, I know, I know. We, on the left side of the political spectrum have had a bad run as of late. Comedienne Kathy Griffin holding up a gory beheaded mask of the still-in-office president. HBO talk-show host Bill Maher, usually so funny and on point, pushed the envelope too far using the N-word. Inexcusable, but he will sincerely redeem himself.

These bad jokes notwithstanding, let’s look at the real issues. Donald Trump in cahoots with the former commies and then cans FBI James Comey when confronted! C’mon, country! By far, impeachable acts that warrant action. Tunnel vision a thing of the past, no longer politically myopic. Just as the year suggests, 2020 (if not sooner) will bring crystal clear vision for those of us who care.
