Re “State-meet bound” (Page 1B, May 27): In Saturday’s Bee I saw a great color photo of Nicole Warwick winning the long jump. This picture, taken by Bee photographer Andy Alfaro, is a stunning action photograph and I hope other Bee readers appreciate Alfaro’s work. A big thank you to Andy and The Bee for making the effort to capture the excitement, athleticism, grace and competition present in our local high school and college women’s sporting events.
