Bill Jaques: Whose idea is it to waste money on 10th Street Place security?

Re “Security measures being added at Tenth Street Place” (Front Page, May 25): We can only hope the braintrust can enlist the TSA to help train our new security agents, particularly in the areas of expedience, charm and customer service. Also, I’m sure the nice people visiting Tenth Street Plaza, regardless of their reason, are anticipating the soon-to-happen “pat down.” Just when you think you’ve heard most of the reasons for tax-money waste here comes one more surprise. You gotta ask, where does this come from?
