Mike Killingsworth: Trump’s gutless budget plan picks on poor, elderly and weak

The biggest terrorist threat to Americans is Donald Trump and the Republican Party, Jeff Denham included. I submit that the number of Americans who will die as a direct result of President Trump’s proposed budget will far, far exceed any number that will die from any terrorist attacks on the homeland.

True terror strikes the heart of any person suffering a possibly fatal illness who has no insurance or inadequate health insurance to cover the costs of treatment. Trump’s budget proposal reportedly will affect 23 million Americans, potentially force each of them to face this very terrifying possibility. Not a single billionaire or millionaire will ever face that prospect, yet Trump and his cohort seek to fill their coffers even more with tax cuts borne on the backs of those less fortunate. Picking on the old, the poor and the weak is pretty gutless if you ask me.
