Bob Fores: 351 riders and dozens of volunteers make Ride for Mom a huge success
The wind did not deter 351 riders and their friends and family from participating in the Sixth Ride for Mom presented by Doctors Medical Center last Saturday at Johansen High School. A huge thank you to volunteers, sponsors, donors and the organizing committee for helping to make a highly successful event. Teens Run Modesto, El Concilio, Tuolumne River Trust, Society for Disabilities and Boys and Girls Club of Stanislaus were the beneficiaries of a total of $12,500 in grants.
Ride for Mom is pleased, over the past six years, to have contributed $56,000 to community groups which embrace “Be Active. Eat Healthy. Live Better.” Bicycle riding is a fitness activity that can be shared by all ages. Ride for Mom encourages you to mark your calendars, get on a bike, and join us on May 12, 2018 for the Seventh Ride for Mom!
