Patricia Landucci: If Lion Bridge can’t be saved, new bridge needs to be well designed
Re “Proposal pushes for demolition of famous Lion Bridge” (Front page, May 10): Please, please, please do not let the designer of the Pelandale overpass have anything to do with the consulting, design or construction of the bridge replacing Lion Bridge. Yes, I know the bridge is over 100 years old and probably is in need of repairs but get someone with common sense to build a bridge that is appropriate to the area. Please save the lions!
