Doug Farrow: Only flaming liberals would criticize those who challenge Obama

Re “Meddling senators get in way of Iran deal” (Opinions, March 12): I hope Our View is limited to the flaming liberals who control California, because it is a dangerous view. Since capturing several hundred Americans in the 1970s and holding them nearly two years, Iran has been an enemy of civilization. Unfortunately, these powerful religious zealots are spawned from the sickest religion the world has ever seen. They are killing their own by the thousands. The day after they get the bomb begins WWIII.

For decades, America and its civilized allies have not trusted Iran. Iran continues to laugh its way through negotiations, hide nuclear facilities, make fools of inspectors and out-negotiate the world. Obama continues to be gullible and we will pay the price unless responsible senators shed light on the hidden truths. Praise Speaker John Boehner for inviting Benjamin Netanyahu and the senators for their follow-up letter.

Every executive action taken by Obama must be scrutinized and tested by Congress. We will have a tough and dangerous road ahead until Obama leaves office. I hope Democrats smarter than Barbara Boxer and Dianne Feinstein will stand up against the party line and stand up for America.
