Dave Cash: 47 senators right to rebuke Obama’s deal

Re “Meddling senators get in way of Iran deal” (Opinions, March 12): I disagree with The Bee’s editorial. But being the liberal rag that it is, I expected it.

The 47 senators who signed the letter are to be commended. President Obama has fumbled, stumbled and bumbled every foreign policy issue he has dealt with since he took office. A nuclear Iran is one issue that the world can’t afford for him to screw up. And given his penchant for kissing the backside of any foreign dignitary who has ever knelt on a prayer rug, he needs to be “slapped” before he hands them a ready-made bomb. Not to mention his less than stellar negotiating skills (five terrorists for one Army deserter).

I would believe Netanyahu before I would believe Obama. I am sure he reads his intelligence reports. The ayatollahs need to know that there are Americans who haven’t ingested the Obama Kool Aid, and any agreement with him has a short shelf life. As a patriot and 20-year Navy veteran, I proudly stand and salute those senators.
