Re “After decades behind bars, artist embraces fresh start” (Front page, March 17): Thank you for the heartwarming front-page article about John Sams. I would like to pay tribute to John’s mother “a single mom of strong faith who raised seven sons in the church.” I would have liked to have met her. What stories she could tell!
