Jack Heinsius: Three cheers for recognizing Modesto in ‘American Crime’

Re “Can TV show be teachable moment?” (Opinions, March 11): Applause to Belinda Rolicheck whose thoughtful article points out that the have/have not life depicted in TV’s “American Crime” extends far beyond our slice of the map. Maybe when we have people with card tables and clipboards and signs asking to “Save the Airport District” we will be as smart and committed as this exemplary Modestan and American.
