John White: We already pay road taxes, where has all that gone?
Why should we have to pay more gas taxes? We already pay more taxes than other states. We have a road system in disrepair, which our taxes are supposed to be paying for. What was the money spent on? Bullet train? Twelve cents doesn’t seem a lot, but it adds up to a gallon of milk, a loaf of bread, etc. So it would be nice to know what our taxes are spent on.
