Bill Blount: What happens if Ferguson cops just walk off the job?

Now that the Attorney General Eric Holder has determined the entire Ferguson Police Department to be racist for writing so many tickets on minority citizens, I think the chief should order the officers to turn in their ticketbooks so they can’t write anymore and cease all traffic stops and searches of minority citizens.

If serious crimes are reported by a citizen, a hotline should be installed so the dispatcher could call Rev. Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton for instructions. The chief should inform all citizens not to state the race of a suspect when reporting a crime, as that could be considered racial profiling. The proper response by the victim would be, “a human has robbed me.”

I think this will calm things down until the police have found other work. Then they can hire all black officers, equip them with tasers and mace but no guns. You can apply for foot patrol positions at Ferguson city hall. Whites need not apply. Salary will be less than before due to loss of ticket income. I believe this will reduce crime by about 80 percent as everyone knows most of the crime in the city was by the cops.
