Joe Henderson: His informal study shows why MSNBC has lowest ratings
As a long-time Fox News watcher, I was quite surprised to find out how racist, homophobic, narrow-minded, sexist and outright stupid I am. All of this because I disagree with some of President Obama’s policies, I’m a pro-lifer, I feel the Federal government has no business deciding what marriage is or is not, and that people should obey all city, state and federal laws.
So I did a little study of my own. I started watching the three main cable news shows CNN, Fox and MSNBC. Over the course of two weeks I watch as many of the shows on these channels as time would permit.
My findings are as follows: If you want to hear from the right, the left and the middle Fox came in first followed by CNN and then MSNBC. For keeping up with what is happening right now it is CNN, Fox and MSNBC. If you prefer to be lectured to, it is MSNBC, Fox (sorry Mr. Bill O’Reilly) and CNN. If you like seeing all the talking heads nodding in unison, it is MSNBC all alone. That probably explains why they have the lowest rating of the three.
Maybe I’m not all those things, just informed.
