Max Goldstein: Drivers are flying down Roselle, endangering people and pets
I just lost my dog, Poppy, on Roselle Avenue to a speeding motorist. I don’t blame the person for not stopping, I blame the speed traveled by every person driving that stretch from Floyd to Briggsmore. There should be some sort of preventative measure placed on Roselle at Bellhaven to prevent people from driving far too fast (a catch light at Merle). I believe we must lose individuals (animals don’t matter) before the city planners will act. Many times motorists don’t even stop for pedestrians at the intersection, even when my wife walks in the crosswalk!
People, please slow down so everyone can enjoy the holiday season.
