William Bishop: How long before Donnie’s pal Vlad takes back Ukraine?
Re “Trump: No need for daily intel briefings” (Page 7A, Dec. 12): Now that Donald Trump has announced “I don’t need no education!” I predict the following:
Russia will invade and annex Ukraine. Trump will respond “Good on ya!”
Russia will invade and annex Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. The NATO nations will attempt to honor their treaty obligations, but Trump will say “Hell no! They didn’t pay enough protection money.”
Following his good friend Vlad’s example, Trump will begin dividing the U.S. Cake among his favored oligarchs. Now that we live in a post-factual world, people will call me a dreamer. To the Trump supporters, I say my dream tells me to prepare to live in abject poverty. We will all come there together.
