Ed Washington: Why are only grocery stores following the plastic bag ban?
Re “Law will help keep plastic bags out of my irrigation pumps” (Online, Dec. 5): I think the writer is right on. I support the bag ban, recycling, composting and anything else to help the environment. I did a lot of shopping this weekend and everybody except the grocery store wanted to put my purchases in a plastic bag. So, unless I missed something, the bag ban is only half way there.
