Jerry Van Houten: Trump won’t deport non-criminals and didn’t make fun of disabled reporter
It saddens me that mainstream media has sunk so low as to mislead the American people with lies and deception. As I read the editorials in The Modesto Bee, I see it relishes the misinformation Americans have been fed by the media regarding Trump. Unfortunately many “legal immigrants” have bought into the lie that Trump wants to deport them. A more accurate statement would be: Trump wants to focus on “illegal immigrants” who commit crimes, such as rape, murder, etc. and have them deported to keep our “legal immigrants” and citizens safe.
The media also lied about Trump mocking a disabled reporter. Donald Trump embarrassed the media by finding the 9/11 Washington Post article they forgot about. The media found the reporter who wrote the report who then tried to backtrack. Trump impersonated a reporter backtracking. The media then points out the reporter is disabled, but only releases still photos of his flexed hand. The public assumes from Trump’s impersonation and being told by the media he is mocking a disabled man the reporter must not be able to control his arms and Trump is a dirt-bag who hates the disabled. In reality muscle spasms or involuntary arm movements are not part of the reporter’s disability. Therefore Trump could not be mocking a disability that doesn’t exist.

Editor’s note: On www.donaldjtrump.com, item No. 5 on Donald Trump’s 10-point plan reads: “Immediately terminate President Obama’s two illegal executive amnesties.” The “executive amnesties” refer to children born in foreign countries but raised in America and deferred action against parents of American-born children. Video of Trump discussing New York Times reporter Serge Kovaleski can be seen at wwwn.cnn.com, www.nbcnews.com and www.snopes.com among others. In a tweet, Trump accused Kovaleski of using his disability “to grandstand.”
