Erica Alcantar: Modesto needs to do a better job conserving water

California is undergoing a drought, and though we have taken precautions and steps to help heal us in this drought, it is poorly executed. The people of Modesto need to abide by the little water restrictions we have. To provide clean water in California, Modesto needs to conserve as much water as possible. Many people have not taken the conservation of water seriously and they should. People of Modesto need to save water, and they can by following the watering restrictions already in place. They should water only on the designated days. The idea such limitations is smart, but it is not thorough. More Modestans need to conserve water to help get California through this drought.
